Hello from the CHAS Project Coordinator

Hello from Mollie Radzinski, the Carlton Community Heart and Soul project coordinator! I am very excited to be in this role and connect further with this community. You can read my full bio here, but know that I have fond memories of countless hours spent at the town park at baseball games and summer days and evenings at one of my two family cottages on the creek. There is no place like northern Orleans County!

It was great to meet and chat with so many of you at our co-hosted Pop-up and Jam event back in September. It was my official kick-off in public. We had the most perfect day in terms of weather, accompanied by good food and fantastic music. We are already in conversations about how we can make the event bigger and better next year. Thank you to everyone who came, especially those who took a moment to fill out our survey or to say hi.

We are currently finishing up Phase 1: Imagine. Community Heart and Soul is rooted in volunteerism and community engagement. We certainly can’t do this without you. If you haven’t already, please fill out our community survey, or send us a note at CarltonHeartandSoul@gmail.com to let us know what you love, but also what you’d like to see in the area. We aren’t doing things blindly; our mission is to hear directly from the people who live, work, and play in Carlton and to bring positive change that together we feel we need the most.

As a storyteller by trade, I am really excited for what’s ahead in Phase 2: Connect. I am also looking forward to some upcoming events that we are getting ready to announce soon. Stay tuned!
